An established truck and trailer workshop is seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to take charge of a small night-shift team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being on the tools while overseeing day-to-day workshop operations. With a guaranteed 40-hour week and stable Monday-Friday nights (3pm – 1am), this is a secure opportunity for someone ready to step into a key position.
Key duties:
- Lead and support a team of two technicians on night shift
- Work hands-on in the workshop to maintain productivity and quality standards
- Allocate tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and well-organised workshop environment
- Act as the point of contact for night-shift operations
- Proven experience as a senior technician, leading hand, or workshop foreman
- Strong mechanical or technical background with a hands-on approach
- Confident people leader with the ability to guide and motivate others
- Reliable, organised, and comfortable working independently on nights
- Health and safety focused with high attention to detail
- $43 - $45 per hour
- $150 weekly night shift allowance
- 40 hours guaranteed
- Monday to Friday, 3pm – 1am (no weekends)
