We’re on the lookout for an experienced Welding Compliance & Operations Coordinator to join our client in ManawatÅ«-Whanganui. This is a key role combining welding supervision, compliance, and operational coordination, supporting both workshop and project delivery.
You’ll take the lead on welding supervision while helping keep day-to-day operations running smoothly across logistics, production, procurement and QA.
A key focus will be maintaining AS/NZS 5131 CC3 quality systems. With strong foundations already in place, we’re looking for an experienced RWC who can take ownership and drive standards through audit and beyond.

- Oversee welding compliance to WPS, AS/NZS 5131 (CC3) and ISO 3834
- Manage QA documentation, traceability and welder qualifications
- Coordinate testing, certifications and inspections
- Support workshop operations, logistics and production flow
- Contribute to quality improvement and H&S standards
What you need:
- HERA Welding Supervisor qualification, or equivalent, is essential
- Proven RWC experience
- Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 5131 & ISO 3834
- Background in heavy fabrication / structural steel
- Ability to read drawings and manage QA processes
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong coordination skills
