Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication of stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, and carbon steel components.
- Working on a variety of projects including structural steel, pipework, pressure piping, process equipment, heavy fabrication, machinery, and general engineering.
- MIG, TIG, FCAW (flux core), and SMAW (arc) welding to a high standard.
- Fabricating, fitting, assembling, and welding from technical drawings and workshop plans.
- Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety.
- Proven experience as a Fabricator in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with plate, pipe, structural steel, sheet metal, or heavy fabricated assemblies.
- Competency in MIG, TIG, FCAW, or SMAW welding (tickets/certifications advantageous but not essential).
- Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings and fabrication plans.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Full NZ working rights or a valid work visa.
