Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting daily production and warehouse activities within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a varied position that combines forklift operation with factory machinery operation, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and being involved in multiple areas of the business.
You will be responsible for moving materials, assisting with production processes, operating factory equipment, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently. Full training will be provided on site-specific machinery.
This is not a forklift-only role. The successful candidate will be willing to assist wherever required and become a valued member of a small, close-knit team.
Shifts & Pay
- $27+ an hour depending on experience
- Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Regular over time of 5:00am starts available
- Current forklift licence with practical operating experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment
- Combi lift experience preferred but not essential
- Gantry crane experience advantageous, however training can be provided
- Willingness to learn and operate factory machinery
- Strong commitment to health and safety procedures
- Physically fit and capable of pushing steel bins weighing up to 100kg
- Ability to work independently and follow processes
- Reliable, motivated, and able to use initiative
- Positive attitude and team-first approach
- No criminal convictions
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
