- Drive warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency across multiple business entities supporting major installation projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, and dispatch of materials to support installation teams, project delivery, and customer requirements. You will play a critical role in maintaining stock accuracy, improving warehouse processes, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple warehouse locations.
Reporting directly to the State Manager, you will be responsible for managing all warehouse activities, inventory control processes, dispatch operations, and warehouse personnel while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations across multiple business entities
- Oversee receiving, checking, storage, and organisation of incoming stock
- Ensure accurate picking and packing of materials for projects, technicians, and spare parts requirements
- Coordinate dispatch activities and freight preparation
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure job readiness and timely delivery of materials
- Maintain inventory accuracy across internal warehouses and third-party storage facilities
- Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Manage relationships with external warehousing and logistics providers
- Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse staff
- Establish and monitor warehouse performance KPIs
- Maintain workplace health and safety compliance
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Warehouse Management position
- Strong inventory control and stock management experience
- Previous experience managing warehouse teams
- Experience using ERP systems, ideally Simpro
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Sound understanding of warehouse safety and compliance requirements
- Forklift licence
