The Opportunity Reporting into site leadership, you will oversee the technical services function, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant mining operations. You will play a critical role in strategic planning, risk management and continuous improvement while partnering closely with operations and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimise surface mining technical services to support operational performance
- Apply strong mine geotechnical expertise to manage risk, slope stability and ground control
- Provide leadership, mentoring and technical direction to site‑based teams
- Ensure compliance with WA mining legislation and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to mine planning, design and execution in line with business objectives
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability and technical excellence
- 6–8+ years’ experience in surface mining within a technical services or geotechnical function
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a mining environment
- Strong understanding of WA regulatory frameworks and site compliance
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Mine Geology
- WA C Class Driver’s Licence
- WA Quarry Manager Certification (essential)
