Comhla Vet is seeking a proactive and relationship-focused Talent Acquisition Partner to lead clinical recruitment across our growing network.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter to build talent pipelines, create a consistent employment brand across the Comhla network of companies, and play a key role in attracting veterinarians, vet nurses and vet technicians across New Zealand.
Reporting into the Chief People Officer you'll partner closely with hiring managers across the business, managing end-to-end recruitment while helping to build a more strategic and sustainable approach to workforce planning.

The Opportunity
As Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll be responsible for delivering a high-quality recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers while ensuring critical clinical vacancies are filled efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and workforce requirements
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across veterinarian, vet nurse and vet technician vacancies.
- Develop engaging job advertisements and attraction strategies
- Proactively source candidates through professional networks, referrals and direct search
- Build and maintain talent pools for future hiring needs
- Strengthen Comhla Vet's employment brand across the veterinary profession
- Screen, shortlist and coordinate candidates through the recruitment process
- Manage reference checks, offers and onboarding handovers
- Track recruitment activity and provide reporting on vacancy status and hiring outcome
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, candidate experience and hiring outcomes.
You will be a confident recruiter who enjoys balancing multiple priorities while building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or a people-focused HR role
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities
- Experience sourcing and engaging candidates through a range of channels
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- A candidate-centric approach and commitment to providing a positive experience
- Confidence working with recruitment systems, job boards and reporting tools
