- Full‑time position based in Wellington
- Work on major commercial, industrial, and seismic‑strengthening projects
- Carry out structural steel fabrication , including cutting, prepping, assembling, and fitting
- Perform high‑quality MMAW welding on heavy structural components
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding specifications
- Assist with both workshop fabrication and onsite installation
- Proven experience in heavy structural steel fabrication and welding
- Strong competency in MMAW welding
- Ability to pass weld tests to NZ industry standards
- Understanding of AS/NZS structural steel requirements
- High attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team
