Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Storeperson to join their busy Dunedin operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, takes pride in maintaining safety standards, and enjoys being part of a hardworking team.
You’ll be involved in a range of warehousing duties including forklift operation, inventory management, loading and unloading freight, and ensuring stock is accurately stored and dispatched. This position offers long-term stability for the right person, with opportunities to grow and develop your skills.
Duties Include:
- Loading and unloading trucks and freight
- Forklift operation
- Picking, packing and dispatching orders
- Inventory control and stock management
- Organising warehouse storage areas
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Following health and safety procedures
- Assisting with general warehouse tasks as required
- Current OSH Forklift Certificate and F Endorsement required
- Previous warehousing or storeperson experience
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Strong focus on workplace health and safety
- Reliable transport and strong work ethic
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Have no criminal convictions
- Valid NZ work rights
- Competitive hourly rate of $30.00
