Stellar Recruitment is working with a well-established earthworks and civil contractor based in Auckland. Known for delivering quality subdivision and civil infrastructure projects across the region, they're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to take ownership of daily field operations and keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and to spec.
This is a hands-on leadership role, managing crews, coordinating plant, and making sure the work gets done right.
You'll be involved in:
- Supervising employees, subcontractors, and plant resources across active project sites
- Developing and executing daily and weekly construction programmes alongside the Project Manager
- Conducting inductions, toolbox talks, and weekly environmental and safety audits
- Identifying and reporting risks, managing hazard boards, and closing out NCRs via iAuditor
- Inspecting materials and ensuring all works meet quality standards and client expectations
- Completing daily diaries and ensuring timesheets are accurate and submitted weekly
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in civil construction or earthworks within NZ
- 2-3 years subdivisional and civil works experience in the NZ market
- Practical experience supervising teams, subcontractors, and plant operations
- Confident reading and interpreting construction plans and documents
- Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety and environmental controls
- $110,000 - $140,000 per annum + vehicle
