Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day site operations across commercial construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and multiple trades
- Manage construction programmes, site sequencing and project timelines
- Monitor workmanship, quality control and project documentation
- Maintain health and safety standards and site compliance
- Identify and resolve site issues before they impact delivery
- Communicate effectively with the project team, consultants, subcontractors and other stakeholders
- Support the wider team to deliver projects safely, efficiently and within budget
- Proven Site Manager experience within the commercial construction sector
- Intermediate to senior-level site management capability
- Strong experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades
- Sound understanding of construction programming, quality control and cost awareness
- Confident managing health and safety requirements and site documentation
- Flexible and comfortable working within a small, growing contractor
- Energetic, practical and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong communication, teamwork and stakeholder management skills
- Relevant construction qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Current site safety certification, ideally NZQF Level 4 or equivalent
- Familiarity with construction management software and digital site tools
