Join one of NZ's most established mechanical contractors, delivering large‑scale HVAC and mechanical services projects. You will take ownership of the day‑to‑day site delivery, ensuring mechanical works are installed, coordinated, and completed safely and efficiently. The role requires close management of subcontractors, careful sequencing of services, and strict compliance with site protocols.
This is a delivery‑focused position suited to someone with hands‑on mechanical experience who can confidently manage complex installations through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations and mechanical subcontractors
- Coordinate HVAC, pipework, plant, and services installation
- Enforce health, safety, and site compliance standards
- Oversee programme delivery, sequencing, and site logistics
- Manage inspections, testing, commissioning readiness, and defects
- Liaise with subcontractors, stakeholders, and internal project teams
- Maintain high standards of quality, reporting, and documentation
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Services Site Manager
- Strong background in mechanical services (HVAC, plumbing, pipework, plant)
- Confident coordinating multiple trades and resolving site clashes
- Experience working in operational, secure, or highly regulated environments
- Practical, organised, and calm under pressure
- Immediate start on a significant mechanical project
