In this leadership role, you will oversee day-to-day workshop activities, ensure job production runs smoothly and safely, manage team workflows, and maintain high standards of quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the workshop fabrication team.
- Manage daily production schedules and job allocation to ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain strict quality control and workshop health & safety standards.
- Assist with job costing, quoting, and pricing where required.
- Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal management to coordinate project requirements.
- Proven background and hands-on experience in sheetmetal fabrication.
- Proven experience in a Workshop Manager, Foreman, or Supervisory role is essential.
- Experience in job pricing and estimating is highly beneficial.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Competitive salary package: $75,000 – $100,000 (depending on experience).
