Working in a busy manufacturing workshop, you'll be involved in the fabrication of sheetmetal products and ductwork used within HVAC systems. You'll be part of an experienced team focused on producing quality work while maintaining high safety standards.
Your duties may include:
- Fabricating and assembling HVAC ductwork
- Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
- Operating sheetmetal machinery and hand tools
- Measuring, cutting, folding and assembling sheetmetal components
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Working efficiently to meet production deadlines
To be successful, you will have:
- Trade qualification in Sheetmetal or a related trade
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in sheetmetal fabrication
- Experience manufacturing ductwork, sheetmetal products or lagging (highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship
- A reliable work ethic and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work extended hours when required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Steel cap boots and hi-vis shirt (hi-vis T-shirt acceptable)
- Safety glasses, gloves and additional PPE supplied on site
- Full Australian working rights
