We’re partnering with a well-established automotive dealership in Lower Hutt seeking an experienced Service Manager to drive performance, lead from the front, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
The Opportunity
This is a key leadership role overseeing the full service department, where you’ll be responsible for operational performance, team leadership, and customer satisfaction.
You’ll be stepping into a business that values strong leadership, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and developing a team of Advisors and Technicians
- Driving service department performance, productivity, and profitability
- Managing workshop workflow and ensuring optimal efficiency
- Delivering a high standard of customer service and retention
- Monitoring KPIs, budgets, and financial performance
- Ensuring compliance with manufacturer and dealership standards
- Proven experience as a Service Manager or senior aftersales leader
- Strong understanding of dealership operations and workshop flow
- Commercial mindset with the ability to drive revenue and margins
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Customer-first approach with strong communication skills
- Experience with Triage Super Service dealer management systems (DMS) advantageous
