We’re partnering with a well-established, growing business seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead their busy workshop.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee daily operations, support a skilled team of Diesel Mechanics, and ensure high standards across heavy equipment servicing and repairs. You’ll drive workshop efficiency, maintain strong customer relationships, and foster a positive, high-performing team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of skilled technicians
- Oversee daily workshop operations, workflow, and job allocation
- Take a hands-on approach when required to support the team
- Liaise with customers to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Manage productivity, performance, and workshop efficiency
- Ensure accurate job documentation and paperwork
- Maintain and enforce strong health and safety standards
- Proven leadership experience in heavy diesel, transport, or heavy equipment industries
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to step into the workshop when required
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with excellent time management
- Positive, solutions-focused leadership style
- Competitive salary package $115K–$130K (depending on experience)
