Due to a pickup in long term project demand, they are proactively hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis to join an easy going, collaborative team that values both technical excellence and genuine working relationships. The team are also open to hiring intermediate level professionals, so please apply if you are not at the senior level, but this role still piques your interest.
This is a servicing role were depending on project scale, the role will be either site-based for larger projects or office-based with regular travel around Auckland to sites as needed.
- Lead quantity surveying on substantial commercial and mixed-use projects, with responsibility for cost management and commercial strategy
- Work across a diverse portfolio including offices, warehouses, retirement living, and significant refurbishment and external cladding projects

- 12+ years of quantity surveying experience, with a strong background in commercial management and project-level cost control
- Proven expertise in quantity surveying (not estimating), with the ability to manage commercial relationships and navigate complex project delivery
- Demonstrated leadership on projects valued $3m-$45m, with the confidence to take ownership of cost and commercial outcomes
- Experience in servicing roles, supporting multiple projects and stakeholders across the delivery lifecycle
- A collaborative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to build strong working relationships across site teams and management
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related built environment discipline
- Professional membership with the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS) or equivalent recognised qualification
- Demonstrated experience on commercial projects in the Auckland region, with familiarity of local market conditions and delivery practices
