Reporting into the Alliance leadership team, the successful Senior Project Manager will be accountable for leading the site team (Mon-Friday) through planning, coordination, execution and close-out of major mechanical and electrical works being undertaken by three appointed contractors. You will bring structure, urgency and calm authority to the interface between engineering, construction, commissioning, contractors, client representatives and operational stakeholders. You will be expected to set the standard for safe delivery, manage competing priorities, resolve issues early, and keep the team focused on programme, cost, quality and performance outcomes.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience leading major $500M+ mechanical and electrical scope as Senior Project Manager on large infrastructure, resources, energy, utilities or complex construction projects
- Strong site delivery background with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and contractors
- Proven capability managing safety, programme, commercial performance, quality and stakeholder interfaces
- Experience working in an Alliance, JV or similarly collaborative delivery model will be highly regarded
- Confident communication style, sound judgement and the credibility to influence at senior project level
The remuneration package is expected to be circa $390K–$430K , inclusive of superannuation, site allowance and bonus, depending on experience and fit.
