You'll lead the delivery of multiple civil projects, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. Alongside project delivery, you'll play a key role in stakeholder management, commercial performance, and leadership to Project Managers, Engineers and other internal staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of civil infrastructure projects across drainage, utilities, earthworks, roading, and associated civil works
- Manage project programmes, resources, budgets, and subcontractors
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual requirements
- Drive commercial performance through effective forecasting, cost control, and risk management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, councils, and key stakeholders
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Engineers, Site Managers, and delivery teams
- Champion quality, safety, and environmental best practice across all project activities
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
- 10+ years of civil construction experience
- Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale civil infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of drainage, water, wastewater, utilities, earthworks, or roading projects
- Excellent commercial management and project controls capability
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop project teams
- Sound understanding of construction contracts and risk management
- A track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- $150,000 - $170,000 base, plus vehicle, performance bonus and benefits
