Stellar Recruitment is partnering with a well-established Mechanical & Electrical contractor renowned for delivering Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC-R, Data and Building Services solutions across Queensland.
With an in-house design capability and experienced delivery teams, the business delivers projects from concept and design through to commissioning and ongoing maintenance. Their portfolio spans health, education, defence, aged care, commercial and energy sectors, working alongside many of Queensland's leading Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors.
Following continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their Brisbane office.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Pre-Contracts Manager, this newly created position will play a key role in the continued growth of the mechanical division.
You'll take ownership of preparing competitive tenders across a diverse range of commercial HVAC projects, leading the estimating process from initial enquiry through to submission, with a strong focus on Design & Construct opportunities.
This isn't your typical estimating role. You'll be trusted to manage your own workload while being supported by an experienced engineering, design and project delivery team. The business encourages initiative, values new ideas and provides the opportunity to influence systems and processes where improvements can be made.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Mechanical/HVAC Estimator who enjoys taking ownership, building relationships and working as part of a collaborative team delivering quality outcomes.
About You
To be successful, you will ideally bring:
- Demonstrated experience estimating Mechanical/HVAC projects within the commercial construction sector.
- Experience delivering Design & Construct tenders.
- Strong understanding of mechanical services systems and commercial construction.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Mechanical Engineering qualification preferred but not essential.
