The Opportunity

This role is suited to a senior lawyer who enjoys working independently and is motivated by building long-term client relationships.

You will take ownership of a practice area aligned with your experience and interests, with access to existing clients and ongoing referral work. While there is an established base of work to inherit, there is also an expectation and opportunity to continue growing your own client following over time.

Alongside your client work, you will play an important role in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the ongoing development of the practice.

About You

• NZ admitted lawyer with 6+ years' PQE
• Comfortable managing matters independently
• Interested in growing a practice & developing new business
• Thoughtful and respectful in your approach to change
• Looking for greater autonomy, or considering what running your own practice might look like
• May come from a litigation background and be interested in broadening your practice
