This is a rare chance for an accomplished Senior Contract Administrator to join a nationally significant Defence infrastructure program. Based permanently in Perth in an offsite project role, you will combine long-term job security with genuine commercial ownership on a large, technically complex civil scope.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will manage selected upstream obligations and the downstream administration of major civil, airfield and enabling-works packages while working for the managing contractor. You will be trusted to protect commercial outcomes, resolve issues early and help drive the project through construction, commissioning and handover.
What you will own
- Commercial and contractual administration of significant subcontract and supply packages.
- Procurement, tender evaluation, contract formation and ongoing subcontractor management.
- Assessment of claims, variations, extensions of time, progress payments and commercial risk.
- Accurate forecasting, cost reporting, cash-flow oversight and maintenance of strong commercial records.
- Close collaboration with project, engineering, planning and delivery teams to achieve safe, compliant and commercially sound outcomes.
- Support and guidance for the wider project team, while maintaining effective relationships with clients and delivery partners.
- Job security! This is a permanent appointment on an awarded project through to 2030.

You are a proven Senior Contract Administrator with strong civil or infrastructure project experience, sound commercial judgement and the confidence to take ownership in a complex delivery environment. You are disciplined, proactive and detail-focused, with the communication skills to influence stakeholders and provide practical commercial leadership during negotiations. You’ll possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management & Economics, Quantity Surveying, or similar. Experience on Defence, aviation, remote or major infrastructure projects will be highly regarded, particularly exposure to Managing Contractor or Integrated Managing Contractor delivery models.
