With over four decades supplying high‑quality machinery and equipment, this organisation is known for strong customer service, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering reliable solutions across the industry.

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a motivated and results driven Sales Representative. Report to the Regional Sales Manager and take responsibility for an established client base while proactively securing new business. Success in this role comes from a strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to demonstrate how the equipment range best supports their work. Take full ownership of the South Island territory, manage the sales pipeline, plan activity, and drive growth with a high level of autonomy.

Responsibilities:
  • Sell a broad range of access and materials handling equipment through consultative, solution focused sales conversations
  • Ensure equipment solutions meet site safety, compliance, and application requirements
  • Respond to inbound sales leads and proactively source new opportunities
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and deliver against sales budgets and KPIs
  • Lead product demonstrations and confidently present equipment capabilities
  • Develop trusted relationships with site managers, operators, and key decision makers onsite
  • Own the sales call cycle with autonomy and consistency
To succeed in this role you will be/have:
  • Proven sales or hire experience within access equipment (EWP), materials handling or a technical, solution driven product environment
  • Strong understanding of access equipment applications, safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills, focused on solution selling
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork
  • Full clean NZ Drivers license, EWP license (beneficial), experienced with equipment trailers
  • Proactive and commercially curious, with the ability to quickly understand equipment applications and customer operating environments
  • Enjoy hands‑on engagement with products and feel confident running demos
