About the job:  
We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Regional Manager to lead our Wellington team and continue building Stellar's presence across the region.
This is a key leadership role responsible for driving regional performance, supporting and developing a high-performing team, strengthening client relationships, and identifying opportunities for continued growth.
You will be hands-on in the market, visible with clients, and confident leading from the front. You will balance people leadership with commercial accountability, ensuring the team is clear on expectations, focused on the right activity, and supported to deliver strong results.
 
About the Role:
You will be responsible for:
  • Leading, coaching and developing the Wellington team
  • Driving regional sales, revenue, client growth and overall business performance
  • Setting clear expectations, targets and accountability across the team
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and industry contacts
  • Identifying new business opportunities and driving the businesses existing service offerings and market sectors across the region
  • Monitoring team activity, pipeline, client engagement and placement outcomes
  • Supporting consultants with client strategy, account management and candidate delivery
  • Providing regular feedback, guidance and performance support to team members
  • Ensuring high standards of compliance, candidate care and client service
  • Working closely with senior leadership to contribute to national business objectives
  • Representing Stellar in the Wellington market through networking, client meetings and industry engagement
About you:
We are looking for someone who is commercially sharp, people-focused and confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
You may already be in a recruitment leadership role, or you may be an team leader/ manager ready to take the next step into regional leadership.
You will bring:
  • Proven recruitment, sales and business development experience
  • Strong leadership capability, with the ability to coach, guide and hold people accountable
  • A solid understanding of recruitment activity, pipeline management and client development
  • Entrepreneurial flare with the ability to build and develop a business including expansion into new markets and service offerings 
  • Confidence building relationships with clients, candidates and internal stakeholders
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • The ability to lead with energy, positivity and professionalism
  • A genuine interest in helping people succeed
