This is a broad, hands-on role covering the full commercial lifecycle, from estimating and take-offs through to valuations, cost reporting and final accounts. You will also work closely with clients and support the wider team with construction management activities where required.

The role
- Manage quantity surveying requirements across commercial projects valued around $5 million to $6 million
- Complete estimates, take-offs, cost plans, valuations and final accounts
- Maintain accurate commercial documentation and project reporting
- Build trusted relationships with clients through regular, clear communication
- Support construction management and project delivery activities where required
- Work closely with a tight-knit team to identify and resolve commercial issues
- Proven commercial construction quantity surveying experience
- Strong estimating, measuring and take-off capability
- Confident managing valuations, cost reporting and project documentation
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients
- Familiarity with Procore or similar construction management software
- A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline
- NZIQS membership or equivalent would be advantageous
- Experience within a small or medium-sized contractor would be beneficial
