The opportunity
A specialist subcontractor operating across: drainage, plumbing and civil works is looking for an Intermediate QS to join their West Auckland team. The team is flat, the office is open plan, and you'll have real ownership of your work from day one.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and managing cost plans, estimates, budgets and regular cost reports
- Preparing tender documentation and assessing subcontractor claims and variations
- Administering NZS contracts and managing change orders
- Working closely with Project Managers and site teams to support delivery goals
- Final account preparation and project close-out
- 2-5 years QS experience in construction; drainage, plumbing or civils background highly regarded
- Solid understanding of progress claims, variations, cost reporting and NZ construction contracts. NZ 3910
- Proficient in Excel; familiarity pricing software advantageous
- Strong communicator who works well in a collaborative team environment
- A good attitude, someone who takes ownership and wants to grow with the business
