Our civil contracting client has built a strong reputation on the east coast and is now bringing that capability to WA having secured their first project award and establishing their Perth office. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead subdivision and land development projects while playing a key part in building the Perth team from the ground up. This is a delivery-focused role for someone who can lead project teams, manage commercial and programme outcomes, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead subdivision and land development projects from award through to completion.
- Manage programme, budget, forecasting, procurement and commercial performance.
- Coordinate project teams, supervisors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Build strong relationships with clients, authorities and other key stakeholders.
- Drive safety, quality, productivity and timely project delivery.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering civil construction projects for contractors.
- Strong subdivision, land development, drainage, earthworks or roadworks background.
- Commercially astute, with solid contract administration, cost control and forecasting skills.
- Confident leading project teams and managing clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
- Relevant civil engineering or construction qualification, White Card and valid Australian driver’s licence.
