This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who gets involved rather than manages from a distance. Whether your background is in civil project management, contracts management, or you're a strong contractor who's grown into leadership - if the attitude is right, we want to hear from you.
You'll be involved in:
- Leading end-to-end delivery of civil and ITS infrastructure projects across the Tauranga region
- Managing project budgets, programme, subcontractors, and client relationships
- Overseeing quality, safety, and compliance across all active project sites
- Identifying and claiming variations accurately and on time
- Supporting and developing the wider project team including supervisors and site staff
- Jumping across civil and other workstreams as needed
- Proven Project or Contract Management experience across civil construction projects
- A background in civil, ITS, or electrical project delivery
- Familiarity with ITS type projects - roading, ducting, pit installations, traffic systems, or similar
- Experience working with NZS3910 or similar construction contracts
- Demonstrated experience leading teams
- Strong client management and communication skills
- A problem-solver who finds solutions and gets involved
- Competitive remuneration package - $130,000 - $160,000 per annum
