Stellar Recruitment is partnering with a well‑regarded, privately owned civil contractor delivering high‑quality projects across Auckland.
With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead civil construction projects from planning through to completion.
This is a site‑focused role suited to a Project Manager with several years of proven success in delivering earthworks and subdivision projects, who enjoys being close to delivery and running projects properly.
You'll be involved in:
- Managing full project delivery across earthworks and subdivision contracts
- Overseeing subcontractor management including HSEQ documentation, audits, and compliance
- Developing and implementing site-specific H&S, environmental, and quality plans
- Submitting monthly claims and managing job costings, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Maintaining programme, reporting to the Contracts Manager, and tabling monthly project reports
- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout delivery
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil construction within NZ
- 2-3 years subdivisional and civil works experience in the NZ market
- Strong knowledge of NZ construction contracts
- Solid financial management skills including monthly claims, costings, and subcontractor payments
- In-depth understanding of HSEQ legislation, systems, and compliance requirements
- Highly organised with the ability to meet strict deadlines across multiple workstreams
- $120,000 - $160,000 per annum (based on experience)
