Our client is a nationally recognised commercial construction company with a strong pipeline of work across the Waikato. They are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of medium‑scale commercial projects.
About the Role In this role, you’ll lead the full project lifecycle — from planning and procurement through to delivery, financial management, and handover. You’ll work closely with Site Managers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Projects typically sit between $20M–$100M , so proven experience across similar‑sized commercial builds is essential.
What You’ll Bring
- Solid commercial construction background with experience managing medium‑scale projects
- Strong understanding of NZ building codes, compliance, and construction methodologies
- Proven ability to manage programme, budgets, procurement, and reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to influence and problem‑solve effectively
- Relevant trade or tertiary qualification (preferred, not essential)
