We are looking for a hands-on Project Engineer (Marine) to support primarily Perth-based marine works, including a major Rockingham project commencing in late October and running through to mid-2027. You will join a small but growing team where your contribution will be visible, valued and genuinely important to project delivery.
The role
You will work closely with project managers, supervisors and field crews to help plan, coordinate and deliver marine construction works typically valued under $10m, safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Support planning, coordination and delivery of marine infrastructure projects
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials, subcontractors and site documentation
- Manage RFIs, ITPs, QA records, progress reporting and project correspondence
- Work with supervisors and crews to solve site issues and keep works moving
- Contribute to a practical, safety-focused and delivery-driven team culture
- Project Engineer experience in marine , piling, structural construction environments for contractors in Australia, NZ or UK
- Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
- Confidence working closely with site teams in a hands-on construction setting
- Solid understanding of safety, quality, cost and programme requirements
- Previous marine construction experience is essential, including working from construction barges or jack-up barges
- Existing Australian work rights
- Perth-based role with varied marine construction projects across WA
- Superb Remuneration $160-165K Base + Super
- 10% site uplift for eligible extended project hours or work away from the metro area
- Typical metro site hours are Monday to Friday (10 hour days)
- Upcoming Rockingham project Monday to Friday 7:00am–5:30pm, with Saturdays generally around 7:00am–2:00pm pending piling or concrete pours
