Stellar Recruitment is partnering with a specialist civil contractor delivering complex three waters, earthworks, and civil works projects.
Due to continued growth and project wins, they're looking for 2x Project Engineers to join their team across Waikato and the Bay of Plenty
These role suits either an experienced Site Engineer ready to take the next step, or a Project Engineer early in their career who wants to develop their skills on genuinely challenging work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting end to end delivery of three waters and civil infrastructure projects
- Managing project documentation, planning, and reporting
- Contributing to commercial performance and cost control alongside project leadership
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Managing client and stakeholder relationships
- Monitoring quality and safety outcomes across active project sites
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer / Project Engineer (three waters highly regarded)
- Strong background in earthworks or civil infrastructure
- Understanding of contracts, cost control, and project planning
- Ability to coordinate across site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
- A hands-on approach with a genuine interest in project delivery
