 About the Role:

Join a manufacturing team located in Winton producing concrete pipes and precast construction products used across New Zealand. You'll work in a fast-paced environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement while learning to operate specialised production equipment.

Duties Include:

  • Assist with the manufacture of concrete pipes and precast products
  • Prepare, assemble, strip, clean and reassemble moulds
  • Operate production equipment and machinery safely
  • Pour and finish concrete products to required specifications
  • Complete quality checks and inspections throughout the production process
  • Handle raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and report hazards, incidents and near misses
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets
  • Receive training to operate larger manufacturing machinery as skills develop
Shifts & Pay:
  • $28 an hour
  • Monday to Friday day shifts starting from 6:00am
  • Minimum 40 hours per week
  • Overtime hours available including Saturdays
Skills & Experience:
  • Manufacturing, production or labouring experience preferred
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Able to work effectively within a team environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
  • Steel fixing or construction experience advantageous
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Valid New Zealand working rights
