Join a manufacturing team located in Winton producing concrete pipes and precast construction products used across New Zealand. You'll work in a fast-paced environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement while learning to operate specialised production equipment.
Duties Include:
- Assist with the manufacture of concrete pipes and precast products
- Prepare, assemble, strip, clean and reassemble moulds
- Operate production equipment and machinery safely
- Pour and finish concrete products to required specifications
- Complete quality checks and inspections throughout the production process
- Handle raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all health and safety procedures and report hazards, incidents and near misses
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets
- Receive training to operate larger manufacturing machinery as skills develop
- $28 an hour
- Monday to Friday day shifts starting from 6:00am
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Overtime hours available including Saturdays
- Manufacturing, production or labouring experience preferred
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work effectively within a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
- Steel fixing or construction experience advantageous
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Valid New Zealand working rights
