We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join a very well-known manufacturing company based in Avondale. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking to secure a long-term role with a reputable and established business.
This role is suited to someone confident operating machinery in a fast-paced, physically demanding production environment.

What’s on offer:
  • $26 per hour + 8% holiday pay
  • Monday to Thursday | 5:00 AM start (10-hour shifts)
  • Temp to perm opportunity with long-term potential

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery
  • Maintain consistent output and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot faults and carry out minor adjustments
  • Support general production and manual handling tasks
  • Follow all health & safety procedures
What you’ll bring:
  • Proven experience as a Machine Operator in manufacturing
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual, repetitive tasks
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to early morning starts
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
Requirements:
  • Must have legal right to work in New Zealand
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Full Class 1 licence and reliable transport preferred
Highly regarded:
  • Experience in heavy manufacturing or production environments
