You'll support the operations of a busy manufacturing site in Mangere Bridge, providing administrative assistance, managing stock control processes and assisting the factory team when required. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of office-based work and hands-on responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.
Duties Include:
- General administration and office support
- Intermediate-level use of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Stock control and inventory tracking
- Quality control
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Supporting operational and factory processes
- Assisting with workflow administration and reporting
- Helping the factory team when required, including light lifting (up to 10kg)
- Learning and adapting to new systems and processes
- Assisting with payroll administration where applicable
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am - 3:30pm
- 40 hours per week
- ASAP start available
- Assignment expected to run 3-6 months
- Previous administration experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Experience with stock control or inventory management
- Quick learner who can pick up new systems efficiently
- Comfortable working in both office and factory environments
- Payroll experience (Kronos or similar) highly desirable
- Experience in any quality control work would be beneficial
- Physically capable of lifting up to 10kg when required
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid NZ work rights
- Pay rate of $27-$29 per hour depending on experience
