We’re seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join a high‑performing manufacturing team based in North Auckland. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the preparation, powder coating, and finishing of metal components, ensuring all work meets quality, safety and production standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for stable, long‑term employment in a clean, well‑run factory environment. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the preparation and powder coating of metal components, ensuring finishes meet quality and specification requirements.
Description

What you’ll do:
- Preparing metal parts for coating (cleaning, masking, hanging)
- Applying powder coatings using manual and/or automated systems
- Curing and finishing coated products
- Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintaining equipment and keeping work areas clean and safe
- Following all health & safety and quality procedures
What you need:
- Previous experience as a powder coater would be an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work to deadlines in a production environment
- A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
