This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional looking to take ownership of the end-to-end payroll function while contributing to meaningful process and systems improvements.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely and compliant payroll delivery, while working closely with finance, HR and operational stakeholders across the business.

About the Role You will be responsible for coordinating and managing payroll activities, ensuring compliance with enterprise agreements, employment contracts and relevant legislation.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.
  • Maintain payroll records and oversee transactions in accordance with enterprise agreements, policies and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate mandatory payroll reporting, including Single Touch Payroll (STP), WGEA reporting and ABS surveys.
  • Provide payroll information, analysis and reporting to support the broader finance function.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve controls and enhance payroll systems.
  • Lead and contribute to payroll improvement projects in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, providing advice and support on payroll-related matters.

To be successful, you will bring:
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, statutory obligations and enterprise agreements.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors will be highly regarded.
