About the role
This is a varied administration role supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy engineering workshop. You'll be responsible for timesheet processing, purchase order administration, freight and dispatch coordination, job setup administration, and general office support duties.
Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll receive comprehensive training and support while collaborating daily with the wider administration team. This role would suit an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys variety, takes pride in their attention to detail, and is confident managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process employee timesheets and ensure accurate record keeping
- Create and manage purchase orders and related documentation
- Coordinate freight, dispatch, and delivery requirements
- Complete job setup administration and maintain project records
- Support day-to-day office operations and general administrative tasks
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers as required
- Assist with maintaining organised and accurate business documentation
To succeed in the role you will be/have
- Previous administration or office support experience
- Set up and manage new jobs
- Confident computer skills Microsoft Office, Nimbus (ERP experience desirable)
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
