Unlike many sales roles, this isn't about pushing catalogue products.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers to develop tailored solutions for some of Australia's largest mining, infrastructure, defence and industrial projects . Every opportunity is different, requiring technical thinking, commercial acumen and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.

Based from RUD's modern Larapinta HQ, this newly created national role has been established to support continued growth across the Engineering Solutions Division .

The role
Reporting directly into senior leadership, you'll be responsible for developing national opportunities across engineered lifting and materials handling solutions.

Your focus will include:
  • Growing key customer relationships across mining, quarrying and heavy industry
  • Identifying and converting new business opportunities nationally
  • Managing technically complex sales from concept through to delivery
  • Working closely with Engineering to develop bespoke customer solutions
  • Developing pricing strategies and commercial proposals
  • Supporting product strategy and future market growth
About you
You don't necessarily need to come from chain products. We're interested in speaking with people who have sold engineered or technical solutions into mining, industrial or heavy industry environments.

You'll likely bring:
  • Technical sales experience within engineering or industrial products
  • Strong commercial and relationship management skills
  • The ability to engage multiple stakeholders throughout lengthy sales cycles
  • Experience working with engineers and operational teams
  • A consultative approach to identifying customer needs and delivering value
  • Engineering qualifications are highly desired
