We are seeking a motivated Mine Surveyor to join our growing team in a permanent capacity. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, safety, and efficiency of our open-pit mining activities, working closely with mine planning, production, and technical teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain and manage survey control systems and spatial accuracy across site
- Provide volume calculations, reporting, and reconciliation
- Support drill & blast set-out and validation
- Assist mine planning teams with accurate survey data and analysis
- Operate and maintain survey equipment including GPS and total stations
- Contribute to a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site standards
- Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across operations
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a mining survey role (open pit, metalliferous preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mine surveying principles and practices
- Experience with survey control, volume reporting, and spatial data management
- Confident communicator with the ability to work within a team environment
- Current WA C-Class Driver’s Licence
- Experience with Trimble equipment and Surpac software
- Exposure to drone surveying (RePL up to 25kg)
- Grade II Survey Authorisation (or working towards)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Surveying or Geomatics
