We're recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters and Steel Erectors/Installers for a major industrial project in Reefton , kicking off in late September and running through to December . Travel and accommodation is included.
This is a hands-on role suited to practical tradesmen who take pride in quality workmanship, work safely, and know their way around steel installation and mechanical assembly.
Mechanical Fitters You'll be involved with:
- Welding, fitting and installation of structural steel
- Mechanical equipment installation
- Piping and mechanical assembly work
- Reading drawings and working to specifications
- Installing and erecting structural steel
- Working at heights
- Rigging and positioning steel components
- Working as part of a skilled site team
- Good spoken English
- EWP ticket
- Working at Heights certification
- Confined Space certification
- Ability to pass a medical
- Police check
- Health Declaration (provided by BWE)
- Welding ticket (Mechanical Fitters)
- Approx. 4 months of solid work
