We're looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a shutdown team in Kawerau. This is an excellent opportunity to secure shutdown work with a reputable industrial company and work alongside a skilled maintenance team.
Description

What you’ll do:
- Maintenance, repair and replacement of mechanical equipment
- Installation and alignment of pumps, motors, gearboxes and conveyors
- Dismantling and reassembly of plant equipment
- Fault finding and preventative maintenance tasks
- Working safely within shutdown schedules and procedures
- Completing work to a high standard while meeting project deadlines
What you need:
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent experience
- Previous shutdown experience preferred
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to hit the ground running
- Current Site Safe
- Ability to pass pre-employment checks
- Must have the right to work in New Zealand
