Our client are the most innovative and agile company in the post-harvest sector with machinery operating in more than 50 countries. They are a world leading manufacturer of post-harvest vegetable and fruit handling equipment. You will be fitting together new equipment and machinery - largely for exporting.
About you:
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, or equivalent.
- Proven experience assembling, fitting, and testing industrial machinery or automated equipment.
- Exposure to robotics, automation systems, pneumatics, and integrated production equipment.
- Experience commissioning, fault-finding, and optimising mechanical systems.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and assembly documentation.
- Competent using a wide range of mechanical tools, workshop equipment, and measuring instruments.
- Practical problem-solver with a high attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices and compliance with health and safety requirements.
