Mechanical fitter – Taupo
We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our high‑performing engineering team, working across multiple sites in Taupo. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation of pumps, motors, valves, and flanges, as well as the alignment of turbines, generators, pumps, and motors.

What you'll do:
- Working with pumps, conveyors, motors and gearboxes
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Maintaining safe work practices and following site procedures
- Preventative and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding, repairs, and equipment adjustments
What you need:
- Qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in an industrial environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions
- Reliable, safety‑focused, and able to work as part of a team
