About the Role
We’re looking for a mechanically minded Machine Operator to join a leading packaging manufacturer in Penrose. You’ll start with quality checks and progress to operating machinery and basic mechanical tasks. This is a temp-to-perm role with rotating shifts and great career potential.
Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery in a production team environment
- Perform quality checks to maintain high standards
- Assist with mechanical adjustments (nuts, bolts, spanners)
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
- Strong attention to detail for quality control
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Reliability and commitment to safety
- Must have NZ Working rights
- Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment drug test
