About the Role:

You'll operate and monitor extrusion machinery, ensuring high-quality production while maintaining safety, efficiency and product standards. You'll be part of a supportive manufacturing team focused on continuous improvement and delivering exceptional products to customers.

Duties Include:
  • Set up, monitor, and operate technical extrusion machinery and associated production equipment.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as required to maintain output and quality.
  • Complete quality checks and production documentation accurately.
  • Handle raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
  • Record downtime, waste and production data as required.
  • Identify and report machine faults, maintenance requirements or quality concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Weekly Shift Pattern:
  • Fixed Night Shift: 11:00pm – 7:00am
  • Sunday night through to Friday morning
  • 40 hours per week
  • Overtime opportunities may be available
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience operating manufacturing or extrusion machinery preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good numeracy, literacy, and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to monitor processes and troubleshoot minor issues
  • Reliable transport to get to work
  • Able to pass a drug test and have no criminal convictions
  • Valid NZ work rights
