We're seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join a leading steel manufacturing business in Mackay that produces quality steel building products used across Australia. Working within a busy manufacturing and distribution environment, you'll play a key role in moving steel products, loading trucks and supporting daily yard operations.

As an experienced Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for safely handling steel products and oversized materials within a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.
Your duties will include:
- Operating forklifts to transport steel building products and raw materials
- Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
- Handling long-length, oversized and non-standard freight
- Assisting with load restraint and transport preparation
- Performing general yard duties and housekeeping
- Supporting warehouse and dispatch operations
- Providing occasional customer service and site support when required
- Following all safety procedures and site requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Previous experience handling steel, timber, piping or oversized products
- Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse or yard environment
- Ability to safely manage long and awkward loads
- Willingness to assist with general labouring duties when required
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen
