Daily Duties:
- Lead, supervise, and support a team of HD Fitters underground
- Allocate tasks and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Perform scheduled servicing, diagnostics, and breakdown repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults on UG equipment
- Maintain high safety standards and ensure compliance with site procedures
- Liaise with supervisors and planners on maintenance priorities
- Complete and review maintenance documentation and reporting
- Work across both workshop and field environments underground
You believe in fostering a positive work culture and ongoing growth, ensuring we always put our people first.
- Certificate III in Heavy Diesel Fitting or Mobile Plant Technology required.
- Previous Leading Hand / supervisory experience highly regarded
- Ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and support team development
- OEM experience with Sandvik, Epiroc, CAT, Komatsu preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capability
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, safety‑driven environment
- Must have valid Australian Working Rights
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to complete pre‑employment requirements
- Proficient in computer skills with programmes such as Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and ideally SAP.
- Up to $105ph + super on all hours
- 2:2 roster, 12-hour shifts
