A busy Auckland practice is looking to bring in a junior solicitor to join their property and commercial team.

This role will suit someone with 1–2 years of PQE who enjoys conveyancing but doesn’t want to be limited to that area. There’s a steady flow of property work, along with broader commercial exposure, so you’ll keep building across both.

You’ll work closely with experienced lawyers, manage your own files, and establish proper client contact early on.

What the role looks like

It’s a hands-on junior position with a strong conveyancing core. You’ll run files end to end, while also getting involved in wider property and commercial matters as they come through.

There’s good support around you, but you won’t be sitting on the sidelines.

The work

• Residential and commercial conveyancing
• Sale and purchase agreements
• Leasing and general property matters
• Commercial contracts and transactions
• Ongoing work with private clients and SMEs

Day to day

• Running conveyancing files from instruction through to settlement
• Drafting and reviewing agreements
• Dealing directly with clients, agents and lenders
• Assisting on broader commercial matters
• Managing deadlines and file requirements
