The Role
You'll be joining a banking and finance team at a well-regarded full-service firm, working across corporate finance, infrastructure and project-related transactions, renewable energy deals, and property finance. The matters are substantial and varied, and you'll get real exposure across different deal types rather than being funnelled into one corner of the practice. The team is tight-knit and collaborative, and there's genuine investment in helping people grow.

Day to Day Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating finance documentation across a range of transaction types
- Advising on deal structure and risk, with direct client contact
- Running your own files while getting stuck into larger matters alongside senior lawyers
- Building relationships with clients and counterparties over time
- Keeping across what's happening in the finance market
About You
- NZ Qualified & Admitted Lawyer
- Around four years' PQE in banking and finance law
- Solid drafter with good commercial instincts
- Genuinely interested in infrastructure, energy, and project-related work
- Happy working independently and as part of a close team
- Clear communicator who's comfortable dealing directly with clients
